                 Examination Policy (2018-19) Class I - V


Examination Policy for Classes I to V has been changed from Session 2018-19. As per the new policy, students will have the following examinations during the year:-

Students need to secure 33% marks or more in aggregate scoring to pass and get promoted.

The students will also be awarded marks on their regularity and sincerity towards submitting assignments and notebooks. Extracurricular activities judging student’s speaking and listening skills, interest and participation also carry important weightage.

Project work for every subject must be completed and submitted on time to ensure good grades and marks.

Co-scholastic activities like work education, physical education, art education, and disciplines like students attendance, sincerity and behavioral values is another important criteria where students will be evaluated on a grading scale of A1 to E.


Examination Policy (2018-19) Class VI to VIII

CBSE last year made some major changes in its examination policy, most important of them being restoration of Class X Board Examination.

The examination policy for Classes VI to IX has also been modified keeping in mind the uniform system of assessment and to develop confidence in students which will help them in preparing for Class X.

Following is the examination policy for Class VI to VIII :-

Internal Assessment shall have 5 marks weightage for notebook maintenance, assignment completion and submission in each term.

Participation of students in subject enrichment activities, aimed at enhancing understanding of the student will also carry 5 marks each weightage in both terms.

Students will be awarded grades (A1 to E) based on their overall performance at the end of the term.

Co-scholastic activities such as work education, physical education, art education, and disciplines like student’s attendance, sincerity and behavioral values will carry equal importance and the student will be evaluated on a grading scale of A, B & C.

We have 3 faculties - Science, Commerce & Arts in Class XI & XII. Details of the subjects available, along with the exam policy is as follows –

 

Commerce Stream

           In Commerce Stream, we have four compulsory subjects - English, Accountancy, Business Studies & Economics. One subject from Physical Education, Maths & I.P. should be opted as optional subject.

 

We have the whole year divided into 4 examinations for Class XI -

Please Note: - Half Yearly and Annual examination will also have Practical Exams for Chemistry, Physics, Accountancy, Business Studies, Physical Education & I.P. The details of the weightage of subject practical can be taken from school faculties by student.

It is compulsory for the student to score atleast 33%  marks in Theory and Practical  individually to pass in the subject.

 

There will be regular class assessments and project work in Physics, Chemistry, Accountancy, Business Studies, Physical Education & Informatics Practices.
